3 Year Degrees

In Ohio the governor of the state told universities to start to get ideas for 3 year degree programs. The basis behind the idea is to get students in and out of school and into the job market quicker. This idea however has been at Ball State in Indiana since 2005. The idea at Ball State is to take classes year round including the summer. However, at Ball State students only wind up saving a couple hundred dollars.Only 25 students are enrolled In Ohio the idea is to make degrees which can be passed without going in the summertime.
Seeing that I am almost through this would not effect me much however i believe if i was just starting i would be all over getting out after three years. Especially with money saved it would have been awesome. The full story can be read at http://n.pr/eP5aoe

  1. I think it's a good plan with Ohio, because students are taking a long time to graduate but I think students should know what they wanna do before they try the program. As for Ball State not all students will want to go to school all year long, many students take summer classes in order to graduate on time, but I'm sure if students didn't have to they wouldn't.

  2. I like this program because I like doing something under pressure, if the University would be cut into 3years and our required hours is not changed, so we must take more hours than what we have now, it would be a challenge for the students who have part time job, in this way ,they do not have time to do this job and can not support themselves.
